Meghan Markle's Half-Sister Samantha Wants Duchess to Take Lie Detector Test: 'I’m Sick of The Bulls**t' - Newsweek

Posted: 13 Feb 2019 12:00 AM PST

Meghan Markle's half-sister claims the Duchess of Sussex lied in her five-page letter to their father, and now Samantha Markle wants the royal to take a lie detector test.

Thomas Markle released a handwritten letter by Meghan Markle months after her wedding to Prince Harry last year. The contents of the letter were based on Thomas Markle's absence at the royal wedding and the drama he's presented to the press since before the couple tied the knot, starting with his staged paparazzi photos. In response to a People magazine story, in which a few of the duchess's friends refuted Thomas Markle's claims that he had not been in contact with his daughter since her marriage, Thomas Markle released the letter to The Mail on Sunday, calling it a "dagger to the heart."

Samantha Markle also took offense to the letter, in particular to Meghan Markle's comments on the "vicious lies" her father and half-sister have spread about her in the press. Samantha Markle shared her two cents about the letter with British tabloid Daily Star Online on Tuesday.

"If pointing out that she is nothing like [Princess] Diana breaks her heart, too bad it's true. If pointing out that she has been coldhearted to my dad before, during and after heart attacks breaks her heart, too bad it's true. If pointing out the fact that I had said once if she treats her own family like this she will treat the Royals like this, breaks her heart, too bad it's true," Samantha Markle said. "If pointing out the fact that she needs to go to school to learn how to be a true humanitarian and all truest breaks her heart, too bad it's true. If pointing out the fact that that letter was a manipulative lie breaks her heart, too bad it's true."

Samantha Markle seemed to be most disturbed by Meghan Markle's admission that she barely even knows her half-sister. "She says she doesn't know me and she lied and said she was never close to my dad. If pointing out that what she says are all lies breaks your heart, too bad because what I'm saying is the truth," Samantha Markle said."

"I would challenge her to take a lie detector test anywhere on the planet with investigators that are not paid by her to skew the results. Quite frankly I had faith in her on and off to do the right thing by her dad but I'm sick of the bulls**t," she said, adding, "Nobody is trying to get close to her but she's not going to ghost, insults, and destroy this family and skip on her merry way without the truth being revealed."

Meghan Markle’s sister tells Duchess to take LIE DETECTOR test: 'I’m sick of the bulls**t' - Express

Last weekend, Meghan's dad Thomas Markle Snr published a five-page letter from his daughter, in which she claimed to be upset by his public attacks on her. In the letter, Meghan accused her father and sister Samantha Markle of lying to the press surrounding her wedding to Prince Harry last year. But in an explosive and foul-mouthed rant, Samantha told the Duchess of Sussex to take a test to prove she had been lying in the letter.

She told the Daily Star Online: "If pointing out that she is nothing like Diana breaks her heart, too bad it's true.

"If pointing out that she has been coldhearted to my dad before, during and after heart attack breaks her heart, too bad it's true.

"If pointing out the fact that I had said once if she treats her own family like this she will treat the Royals like this, breaks her heart, too bad it's true.

"If pointing out the fact that she needs to go to school to learn how to be a true humanitarian and all truest breaks her heart, too bad it's true.

"If pointing out the fact that that letter was a manipulative lie breaks her heart, too bad it's true.

"She says she doesn't know me and she lied and said she was never close to my dad if pointing out that what she says are all lies breaks your heart, too bad because what I'm saying is the truth.

"I would challenge her to take a lie detector test anywhere on the planet with investigators that are not paid by her to skew the results.

"Nobody is trying to get close to her but she's not going to ghost, insults, and destroy this family and skip on her merry way without the truth being revealed."

Thomas has been very vocal about the falling out with his daughter Meghan around the time of her wedding last year.

In numerous interviews with the British press, he at times begged for his daughter to reach out, and at others attacked her, calling her "superior" and the Royal family "a cult".

The letter emerged after an anonymous interview given by five of Meghan's closest friends with PEOPLE magazine last week where they revealed their concerns about the rumours around Meghan.

The Mail on Sunday published the extracts from the letter, which Mr Markle said left him feeling "devastated".

Within the letter, Meghan said her father had "turned a blind eye to the pain you're causing".

She added: "If you love me, as you tell the press you do, please stop.

"Please allow us to live our lives in peace."

Court nod for lie-detector test of Kalabhavan Mani's friends - Onmanorama

Kochi: A court here on Tuesday granted permission to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to conduct lie-detector tests on seven friends of late actor Kalabhavan Mani.

On February 8, Jaffer Idukki, Sabumon and five others had presented themselves before the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate, offering to undergo the tests as demanded by the CBI that was probing the popular actor's death in 2016.

According to the guidelines, the test can take place only with the concurrence of those who are to undergo it.

Mani, 45, who acted in some 200 films in Malayalam and other languages, was admitted to a hospital in Kochi on March 4, 2016 for an alleged liver ailment. He died two days later.

Forensic experts said an insecticide (Chlorpyrifos) was found in the actor's blood but the police failed to crack the case.

Mani was staying in a 30-acre farmhouse near Chalakkudy, away from his home, his wife and daughter, where these friends were believed to be present on the day the late actor fell ill.

After his death, the hospital authorities reported the presence of an organophosphate pesticide in the body, leading to speculation that Mani might not have died a natural death.

Ever since, his family has been running from pillar to post to ascertain the real cause. In 2018, the Kerala government too sought a CBI probe.

As President Donald Trump doubles down on his support for his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, a former special counsel during Senate Watergate hearings says the status of the court will be affected without a full and open hearing. (Sept. 25) AP

WASHINGTON - An examination taken by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford was released Wednesday, showing she passed a polygraph test over the sexual assault allegations she's lodged against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

The August 7 examination, held in a Maryland Hilton Hotel, consisted of a one-page, handwritten statement by Ford, an interview and two questions: Is any part of your statement false? And, Did you make up any part of your statement?

She answered both with a no. The Virginia-based examiner, Jeremiah Hanafin, noted both answers were deemed "not indicative of deception," according to the report obtained by USA TODAY.

The report was sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday ahead of Ford's planned testimony on Thursday. In a letter to the committee's leadership, Ford's attorneys said they would not provide any of Ford's medical records of the alleged assault.

"Any request that she expose her private medical records for public inspection represents an unacceptable invasion of privacy to which no reasonable person would consent," her attorneys wrote. "Under no circumstances will we grant any such request."

Ford's attorneys have repeatedly noted Ford's medical records as a way to corroborate her story. She is said to have talked about the assault during a 2012 couple's therapy session, well before Kavanaugh was a nominee for the nation's highest court.

Hanafin, who lists online that he provides polygraph services in Arlington, Virginia, wrote in his report that two other analysis' was conducted, both concluding Ford's answers showed no signs she was lying. One concluded the probability of deception was less than .02.

Ford's signed handwritten note reiterated her claims of a sexual assault at a house party when she and Kavanaugh were teens.

"I was pushed into a bedroom and was locked in the room and rush onto a bed," she wrote. "Brett laid on top of me and tried to remove my clothes while groping me. He held me down and put his hand on my mouth to stop me from screaming for help."

Late Wednesday, photos of Ford taking the polygraph exam were sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee. The photos show Ford sitting at a table and seemingly hooked up to a machine.

Along with the polygraph examination, Ford and her attorneys sent over four signed declarations late Tuesday from people she told about the alleged sexual assault over the years in hopes to support her claims.

Kavanaugh also sent in a 1982 calendar, attempting to show he wasn't present at the party where the alleged assault happened. Ford has noted she did not remember the exact date of the party but the calendar is filled with social gatherings and other gatherings.

Letter: Why didn't Kavanaugh take lie detector test?

It was hard to imagine that Justice Brett Kavanaugh, or anyone, could be nominated to the Supreme Court by the Senate if that individual refused to take a lie detector test. One would have thought that the credibility of the Supreme Court would be most important to the Congress and to all of us.

This refusal, and the resulting confirmation of the above-indicated individual to the Supreme Court, was particularly frightening because of the indication that Kavanaugh was chosen for the Supreme Court because he has written previously that presidents can be immune from prosecution, thus reminiscent of the Enabling Act that legitimized Hitler in Germany in 1933.
