Tanishq Bhasin's murder: Accused ditches polygraph tests

PANCHKULA: The alleged prime suspect of Tanishq Bhasin's mysterious death case did not appear for the lie detector test on Tuesday at Madhuban laboratory of Haryana Police. The family members of Tanishq hold Subh Sekhon, a friend of the victim, responsible for his death.
On November 8, 2017, Tanishq Bhasin (19) was found dead in his car near Berwala village in Morni with a bullet mark on his forehead. A German-made revolver was also found from the lap of the victim. Tanishq was the son of a Punjab and Haryana high court advocate. Sekhon, a resident of Mohali, went missing for three days following the incident.

The local court granted the permission to conduct Sekhon's lie detector test after the victim's family members alleged his involvement. Investigation officer inspector Aman Kumar and father of Tanishq, Sunil Bhasin, reached Madhuban laboratory on Tuesday, but Sekhon did not.

"We suspect Subh Sekhon from the first day. I asked him to go for the test with us but he did not appear. Police reached Madhuban in time. Sekhon is evading test and now I am sure that he is the one behind the murder of my son," said Sunil Bhasin.

"I will give Rs 5 lakh to anyone who will help us find the murderer," Sunil said.
He added that his son was killed for money as he was carrying Rs 1 lakh with him, which was not found from the car. Inspector Aman Kumar, incharge Panchkula crime branch, said, "One more chance will be given to the accused, if he fails to appear, we will arrest him as per the law."
As per the cops, Sekhon may not be behind his death as Tanishq was found locked with keys in inside the car.
During their initial investigation, cops were suspicious that Tanishq may be involved in playing Blue Whale, however, failed to find any trace of the same.
