Kami Wire-Free Outdoor Camera review - TechRadar

Image
Two-minute review Outdoor security cameras are generally more expensive than their indoor counterparts, but Yi Technology has managed to build a tough, weather-proof camera in the Kami Wire-Free Outdoor Camera. The 1080p resolution is perfectly adequate for monitoring smaller areas such as gardens or the outside of a small office, and the ability to record video onto your own memory card is a good alternative to paying for online storage. The zoom feature is limited, though, and the odd battery size means you might have to buy a new battery charger.    (Image credit: Future) Price and availability Yi Technology is still a new name in the western world, but it made a good impression with its Kami Indoor Camera recently, which provided useful security features at a very competitive price. Yi has now followed up with an outdoor camera that also offers good value for money at just £79.99 ($89.99). We reviewed the battery-powered Wire-Free Outdoor Camera, but there's a...

The Bureau of Industry and Security said (Opens in a new window) at the time that the companies "have been implicated in human rights violations and abuses in the implementation of China's campaign of repression, mass arbitrary detention, and high-technology surveillance against Uighurs, Kazakhs, and other members of Muslim minority groups" in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region. Teledyne FLIR keeps airspace in critical areas free of drones - Trade Arabia

Teledyne FLIR successfully completed an installation of a long-range drone detection system for a critical infrastructure site in Sweden.   As drones are becoming commercially available to a wider audience, effective drone detection and monitoring has become increasingly important, especially for critical infrastructures and sites, such as power plants, utility centres and airports.   However, effective and accurate drone detection is challenging.
